The resort offers various activities for guests to participate in while enjoying their stay on the island, to create a relaxing vacation experience. The resort offers a freshwater heated pool with luxury lounge chairs, as well as a swing bed and multiple hammocks across the island situated for your leisure. Additionally, benches are provided on the south breakwater for guests to enjoy a picturesque sunset. Also, the best place to snorkel is around the breakwaters just off shore where you can see lobster, eels, variety of fish, small rays and much more.

Scuba diving at Turneffe Island Resort in Belize is a unique experience! As a private island resort we offer the best diving and most luxurious accommodations in the Western Caribbean. We are proud to offer access to over 70 dive sites within minutes of our island, including the world famous Elbow.Our exclusive dive program consists of 15 dives a week – 2 on Sunday, Monday and Friday, 3 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Usually the first dive is at 8.15 am, the second around 10:30 am and the last dive at 3:00 pm. Most of the dive sites are 5 to 10 minutes from the Resort and we return to the island for all of our surface intervals. We also offer Nitrox for those who are certified. The dive shop has rental equipment for both diving and snorkeling. During the week we schedule a trip to Lighthouse Reef to dive the Blue Hole. We also offer a night dive each week, usually on Thursdays, weather permitting.

No St. Lucia visit is complete without a visit to St. Lucia's famous walk-in volcano, the Sulphur Springs and the waterfall and botanical gardens part of the Louis XVI Mineral Baths. Why not take a bathing suit along and soak away in the small pools with hot spring water.

There are many more excursions available including deep sea fishing, whale watching, horseback riding, around the island tours, tours to Marigot Bay, the island capital of Castries and to the North of the island including a visit to Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island National Park. The 18 hole Cap Estate Golf & Country Club welcomes non-members and also is located in the very North of the island. 

And of course, the diving...!

The Anse Chastanet reef starts just 10 yards beyond the water's edge. The reef's remarkable ecosystem offers an amazing profusion of unusual tropical marine life, in 20 to 140 feet of calm, clear water. Anse Chastanet Reef which is home to more than 150 different species of fish makes for an amazing dive day or night. In the shallow areas be sure to keep your eyes open for peacock flounders, octopus, needle fish and turtles. Or drop down a little deeper over dense coral growth to see puffers, moray eels, parrot fish, lobsters and even sea horses. A unique dive site for all abilities and especially good for macro photography.

Normally this 2013 low season is $1499 per person double occupancy. Valid for travel April 1-27, May 7 - June 30, Sept 1-26 and Oct 8 - Dec 15, 2013 and 2014.
