Set Sail Aboard M/Y Topaz - There’s a special kind of quiet that fills the air when you leave the harbor behind—just the wind, the soft hum of engines, and the gleam of the Red Sea stretching endlessly toward the horizon. The M/Y Topaz, Sea Pirates Egypt’s newest super yacht, captures that feeling perfectly. Launched in early 2025, this vessel was crafted for comfort and designed with divers in mind, blending the soul of adventure with the ease of a boutique hotel at sea.
Topaz was built to host up to 28 guests and to deliver a refined and personal experience on the Red Sea. Sleek open decks invite long hours of sun, shaded lounges offer cool respite, and panoramic views appear around every corner. The yacht balances social spaces with quieter retreats, so chatting over coffee and sinking into a shaded lounge chair are both enjoyed effortlessly aboard Topaz. Accommodations are modern and elegant. The yacht features 14 modern suites plus two panoramic premium suites, creating sixteen total guest suites arranged across multiple decks. The layout includes twelve Standard Suites, two of which are fitted with king size beds while the remaining ten offer twin beds that can be converted for couples. Two Superior Suites feature king size beds and extra space, and two Premium Panoramic Suites provide king beds and wide vistas over the bow. All suites are air conditioned and en suite. Thoughtful finishes, discreet storage for dive equipment, and soft lighting make each room a calm retreat after a day of diving.
Dining and Daylife - Meals aboard Topaz are relaxed and flavorful. Fresh fish, regional vegetables, and Mediterranean influences appear alongside familiar comfort foods. Breakfasts are generous, lunches are timed between dives, and dinners are often shared al fresco under the twinkling night sky. Snacks, coffee, tea, and soft drinks are available throughout the day. The yacht’s dining and lounge areas encourage conversation and the relaxed pace that comes from being on the ocean.
Designed for Divers and Sea Lovers - Diving is the center of life on Topaz. The dive deck is large and efficient with personal gear stations, rinse facilities, and easy access to the water. Up to three dives per day are typically offered, with optional night dives when conditions allow. Nitrox is available for certified divers and experienced guides lead groups with safety and local knowledge in mind. Topaz runs itineraries that showcase the diversity of the Red Sea. In northern waters you can expect historic wreck dives and sheltered reefs. On the Golden Triangle routes the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone offer thrilling drift dives, steep walls and the chance of pelagic encounters with hammerheads and mantas. Southern runs bring remote reefs, vibrant coral plateaus and fewer crowds. Each itinerary is curated to combine top-tier dive sites with comfortable transit between points so your time in the water feels rich and unhurried. Topaz offers nitrox for EAN-certified divers but does not support technical dives or rebreathers.
Beyond Diving: Kite Safaris and Dolphins - Sea Pirates Egypt designed Topaz not only for scuba but also for broader sea play. Kite surfing safaris take advantage of steady winds and glassy shallows, offering coached sessions and downwind runs for those chasing adrenaline. The yacht also runs curated dolphin encounters; respectful and joyous moments where pods glide alongside the bow and guests watch from deck or join shallow water swims under guide supervision. These supplemental experiences give non-diving companions plenty to enjoy and add texture to every voyage.
Service That Feels Personal - Topaz emphasizes a small group atmosphere with attentive service. The crew are experienced hosts who handle logistics, safety and small but important comforts so guests can focus on the day ahead. Dive briefings are clear and concise. Equipment is handled professionally and meals are timed so you never feel rushed. For many travelers, the warmth of the crew is what turns a great trip into a memorable one.
Topaz is new, carefully appointed, and tuned to the rhythms of the Red Sea. It is a yacht for people who want modern suites, social decks, and curated adventures all in one place. From the panoramic suites to the efficient dive deck, the vessel is designed to keep the sea at the center of every day while providing the comforts that make a liveaboard feel like a second home. If you want to dive the Red Sea’s best sites, try kite sailing in warm breezes, and spend evenings under broad skies with good food and better company, M/Y Topaz is a fresh and compelling option. Book a voyage and let the boat move you into a week of blue water, bright reefs, and quiet moments that stay with you long after you come ashore.

Dive Conditions

Diving conditions in the Red Sea are idyllic, with water temperatures rarely falling below 71°F/22°C even in the Egyptian winter (December - February). Topside weather conditions are equally pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 68°F-104°F (20°C -40°C) depending on the time of year.
Located in the Middle East, the Red Sea is a northern offshoot of the Indian Ocean. While these bodies of water share many of the same habitats and marine life, the Red Sea has evolved to provide unique habitats for numerous endemic species. Due to little rainfall, high evaporation, and a relatively isolated location, the Red Sea has one of the world's highest rates of salinity. These same factors also provide excellent diving conditions, and the Red Sea boasts a phenomenal 360 dive days a year. Furthermore, the Red Sea has few river tributaries feeding into it, which means limited microalgae allowing excellent dive visibility.
Diving is available in the Red Sea year-round. However, March to May and September to November are often cited as the best times to visit. Topside weather conditions are comfortable and the sea temperature isn’t too cold during these months, but this also attracts many other tourists, and dive sites can be extremely busy. During June, July, and August, uncomfortably hot topside temperatures mean resorts are quieter, but it's still worth considering since you may encounter hammerhead sharks on the outer dive sites.
Shore dives from the northern resorts and beaches are generally organized by the inhouse resort dive centers, and many offer unlimited diving on their house reef. Day trips out to Ras Mohammed and Tiran usually offer two or three dives from a day boat, often at busy sites with a lot of other divers and snorkelers. Many divers opt for a liveaboard trip which gives better access to remote areas where there are no crowds. Dives are generally from the back of the liveaboard or from tenders which take divers close to the reefs. Many Red Sea dives are drift dives, so the use of a safety sausage is mandatory.
